Alberto Benavides de la Quintana AM '44, AMP 62 ('71) receives the "2011 Harvard University Lifetime Achievement Award, Peru"

More than 125 Harvard alumni and their guests gathered in Lima, Peru on Monday, August 22 to honor Alberto Benavides de la Quintana AM '44, AMP 62 ('71) with the 2011 Harvard University Lifetime Achievement Award, Peru in recognition of his contributions to the betterment of society.   Vice Provost of International Affairs and Antonio Madero Professor for the Study of Mexico Jorge I. Dominquez presented the award to Alberto and spoke about Harvard's international strategy and the University's role in global education at a reception hosted by the Harvard Club of Peru, the HBS Chapter of Peru, HLS Association of Peru, and the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA).  The celebration for Alberto also included a video message from the Harvard Business School AMP class of 1962 reunion and a letter from GSAS Administrative Dean Margot N. Gill, congratulating Alberto on receiving this great honor.
